He' is one of the most honest fighters. He doesn't give a crap about much, and if people would just hold still for a minute he'd knock their blocks off. It used to be a blast listening to his interviews after fights in the old days. "What are you gonna do now?" Abbot: "Probably go to a bar and get in another fight."

He'd be hellacious in a bar fight. Some one should make that a PPV event.

When the UFC was owned by SEG (Semaphore Entertainment Group), they sent him to Japan to learn submissions. I'm not sure what fight it was (possibly against Steve Nelmark), but he was attempting a toe hold.

Although Tank professes to be a street fighter, he has received training in submissions, and has a decent boxing and wrestling background.

In addition, his tough guy personna overshadows his intelligence; he has a degree from UC Berkley.
