A lot of hype, mainstream hype, surrounding this UFC event. I'm watching the ppv with some friends who never seen UFC before and I been hyping the fight to them for a while. With the recent exposure on ESPN and other venues i'm guessing alot of first timers are going to be watching tonight. I just hope that the PPV actually lives up to the hype or else it can turn off alot of people. UFC 70 i felt despite the SHOCKING headlining fight was a bit tame and weak with alot of decision fights and tentative fighters. Lets UFC 71 has some good fights and is not a snoozer. You guys think Rampage and Chuck are going to be willing to trade and not be hesitant? the first fight was great and i hope this one will be too.

They have both fought tons of huge fights against ultra dangerous opponents and neither have ever been afraid to trade punches. I don't think they will start now. Neither want to become a Sylvia. Pleasing the fans with a big finish means everything to these two, in their own way. Rampage knows that if he can take out Liddell with a bang then his stash of cheddar will go through the roof. Chuck doesnt need the cheddar, but his TV, movie, party, ladies, Mr Popularity lifestyle depends on his knocking out guys in the cage.
