How about a weekly segment where Bas interviews some of the big names in MMA one on one.
I always thought a format like Off The Record (on TSN in Canada) would work well for an MMA show. Its a very informal show where the host leads the panel in a discussion on current events in sports.

How about you host a fight picking contest for up coming events. People can email in their picks - victor, method of victory, round.. and the closest to the actual results wins a PRIZE.

I care about low-level regional shows. In fact its one of the reasons why I enjoy InsideMMA, the fact they show footage from smaller orgs around the country. Please HDNet... keep that!

Maybe let the fans vote for one headline fight to happen. Like for IFL who should Roy Nelson fight next and have a list of contenders along the lines of Jeff Monson or Pedro Rizzo.

obviously you need rankings and a commenting system somewhere about rankings. it appears to be the most popular subject on sherdog and a lot of sites.

1) Remove all rankings, including the ridiculous "top 10 of all time" rankings.
2) Stop showing terrible regional shows, or have Bas make fun of the fighters and add funny sound effects like a slide whistle when someone falls down after throwing haymakers and losing their balance.
3) Less focus on the IFL, half the show is about the IFL, that's no good.
4) Cover more shows outside the US.
5) Less horse jockey type guests.
That's basically it, follow my advice and it will be the biggest show about MMA on HDNet.

Those are some very good points, especially about the IFL coverage. We get it, Bas and the other guy do the commentary on the IFL but that doesn't mean that you should just mention the last Dream card for a minute or two and then spend 20 minutes on the IFL.

It is perfect the way it is.
I understand Dana White doesn't want to work with Mark Cuban, but this show doesn't focus on HDnetFights that much. You guys show no biased towards anyone, and try to cover all promotions. I think its a very childish move on Dana's part. This is the best MMA news show out there, and whether he likes it or not, it will end up to be the most popular one.
Do you know if COMCAST is gonna carry HDNet soon?
