Anyone else annoyed with ESPN?

I was just watching sportscenter as they did the "Ultimate Highlight" where they put together highlights from the week in sports and they do it to music. They showed a bunch of lackluster highlights from basketball to hockey, to soccer. I fully expected to at least see GSP somewhere in this highlight, but the only UFC/MMA thing they put in the highlight was a 2 second shot of Bisping being taken down in a fight in which Bisping dominated. What the hell? I saw on Sunday morning's Sportscenter they showed 2 quick clips of GSP and Serra after they showed highlights of the Hopkins fight. At least they mention it now, but it almost seems like they do it reluctantly. It annoys me that MMA seems like the redheaded step child to ESPN. Anyone else have any feelings like this?

They gave it the same amount of time as they gave the Calzaghe fight. I don't know what else you could be looking for.

baby steps TS, baby steps.

Just that 1 or 2 second clip will get another thousand people to check out MMA that probably wouldn't have had any other exposure to it.

MMA is growing, and barring any deaths in the ring for a major promotion, it will grow for decades to come.

Well i think after every UFC event that ESPN should give UFC it's own little section they do it for boxing y not. If not the entire event do the main event ...after UFC 84 they need to put some highlights cuz there will def be sum thing that night

I hope ESPN never picks up MMA. If Canada can have a combat sports channel that features MMA why not the US? There is a huge audience in the US for MMA. Zuffa owns the complete UFC, Pride, WEC, and WFA video libraries. Imagine ZUFFA with their own television channel. They could even broadcast live events on it. Similiar to the NFL network.

As the UFC's roster grows and they could possibly put on weekly cards I would love that.
