Warrior Nation Series On Msnbc

Hi, Sherdog Forums! We're the producers of the 4-pt Warrior Nation series
that's airing on MSNBC. We love Sherdog and would really love your
feedback on what you think of the show. Each episode gives our viewers a
behind the scenes look at MMA fighters, a personal look at the lives and
struggles of these incredible athletes, and, of course, each show
culminates in a glorious fight. Our first episode featured Urijah Faber
and Enoch Wilson. The second focused on the fighters, and married couple,
Erin Toughill and Clark Bevans. The third show will air this Tuesday the
23rd at 10pm EST. The episode profiles Gina Carano and Elaina Maxwell
and their Strikeforce fight; we also visit Cung Le and get to know his
training regiment as he gears up to fight Jason Von Flue.

We're thrilled about the series and we've received great feedback on the
shows. With enough word of mouth we think MSNBC will turn it into a full
length series. If you like the show definitely tell everyone you know to
check it out this Tuesday night. And if you haven't seen it yet, please
check it out and tell us what you think! Our last show (which airs
Tuesday, January 30th at 10pm EST) features UFC champs Chuck Liddell and
Tito Ortiz. We're open to suggestions on other MMA fighters you'd like
to see profiled. There's a strong chance we can make future shows based
on viewer suggestions and feedback - but we won't have more episodes
without your help!! So check out the show and if you like it - spread
the word!

Thanks to all those viewers that have already been watching - we love your
feedback!!

Profile some old school fighters that can talk about the evolution of MMA from a spectacle to a sport.

Guys like Don Frye (who still occasionally fight) or Ken Shamrock (that guy always seems up for some TV time and will assure you ratings) even Royce would make for some interesting viewing.

Or the fact that MMA is a worldwide phenomenon with roots in Brazil and going gangbusters in Japan. Show the American audience that there is life outside the UFC.

Even revisit haters that have changed thier tune like John McCain.

I think the show would benefit if you guys profiled someone making the transition from one of the smaller shows to Pride or the UFC. Focus more on their training instead of their personal life. Also, women fighters do not warrant the amount of attention your show gives to them, currently neither Pride or the UFC has women fighters as they are not enough of a draw.

Thanks, I love the show.

Both myself and my father watch. Great show. I love the fact that it's not just about UFC, or just about PRIDE, but it shows the up and comers.

I have enjoyed the first two episodes. Keep up the good work. Question, How often are you going to showcase the big 2 (UFC and Pride)?

Good show, I'm a fan. But note to producers. Most of us on these forums aren't too big into the women fights. I understand the point of airing it, but personally I'm more interested in the men and their training.

But like I said I watch it.
