Wandy's Position

Obviously this is speculation and details are limited right now but from the looks of things, Wandy is in the position to cement his legacy as the greatest fighter in the history of the world.

No trolling as there is NO assumption of individual victories but Wandy could defeat

Nog/CC/Barnett-countdown baby!

Chuck--if chucky wins v. Babalu. Sorry Renato...I'm not longer rooting for you.

Fedor--if he wins the OWGP...Fedor can be beat. Just ask Timmy "poopy pants" Sylvia. LOL

Like I said, I'm not ASSuming Wandy will win all of these fights. But unlike any other fighter in history, he is not inline for a "title" fight. He is in the postion to be OWGP champ; Pride MW champ; Pride HW champ; UFC LHW champ.

For the Wandy haters, finally Silva has no contractual excuses and will be facing the best fighters in the world...back to back to back to back.

For the Wandy Nuthuggers, finally Silva can secure himself as the greatest fighter...EVER!

No matter what you want or expect to happen--THESE ARE EXCITING TIMES!!!

He could do all that but it is very unlikely that he will do all of it. if the liddell fight happens i think he will win. i think he could win the OWGP but i dont think this is likely. he if faced fedor i dont think he can win (but he would do better than sylvia would).

he can do all of these, and i would like to see him beat liddell and think he can and will, but i think he won't win the OWGP, and if he faced fedor, i think it would end like the rest of fedors fights (not as fast as the zuluzhino fight though)

If he wins the OWPG and against Fedor and against Chuck, he WILL go down as the greatest MMA fighter in history. People will fucking worship him and all of Sherdog will hang from his nuts. With the exception of UFC nuthuggers and TUF noobs.

I agree, If he wins his next 3 or four fights he has schedualed then not even Fedor in my opinion could touch that acomplishment.

Fedor has yet to do what Wanderlei has, remain champ and stay undefeated for over 5+ years (19-20 fights). I think Fedor is 12-0 now..still has a good 7-8 fights to go to match Wanderlei in the undefeated department.

Only problem is, Fedor cannot go up a weight class like Wanderlei to make him shine even more.

Wanderlei is in a position to become the absolute best fighter to ever grace the sport of MMA. He has the balls to try, give him that, most champs are content to sit behind thier belts. Wanderlei is running towards the storm.

How anyone can't dig Wand and his style is beyond me. He comes to scrap each time, and he's looking to put you into critical condition with each blow thrown.

Yes. If he somehow manages to win the OWGP, win vs. Fedor and win vs. Chuck, then he would go down as the greatest MMA fighter ever. Though this is a really hard thing to do, and I personally don't think it will happen, but I'm not counting the possibility out.

No matter what happens, no one can deny the warrior spirit of Wanderlei Silva. He really is the guy who will face anyone, without any excuses. Fighting a heavier Hunt and Yoshida, entering the OWGP, and now facing Chuck at Chuck's home court. It's great to have a guy with his fighting spirit in MMA.
