I agree with you, he never said that straight, but I don't understand why people are getting over the OP, I mean, he didn't fabricate anything. He made an assumption, and after hearing that, I don't think it's total nonsense. I think no one here expected to hear something like that from Dana at all, so I'm really surprised and worried about Wanderlei Silva perspective in the UFC

he should drop whetever he loses or not, wanderlei is to small for 205.

exactly...Dana said Wand has to win some fights to stay in the UFC, not that he'd be cut if he loses to Jardine.

"win some fights to stay in the UFC" it wasn't referring to this and only this fight as the final ultimatum"

Isn't fair really that people can't stay in the UFC for losing to far toughers guys than others are beating to stay.

Ignore this thread, it's way misleading.

Why? Wandy lost to a former champ. Big deal. It's not like it was an upset.

Although he didn't exactly say he's gone with a loss, it wouldn't be the 1st time one of PRIDEs "greatest" fighters came to the UFC only to get the boot because he couldn't cut it.

Now, don't get me wrong, i'm not saying the UFC is better or worse than anyone. I've always thought that the UFC didn't have all the best fighters, but so far they aren't doing too bad.
