Wand vs Chuck should be under Pride rules

The UFC rules obviously take away from Wanderlei's game since he can't use knees, kicks and stomps to the head when the opponent is on the ground.

On the other hand Pride's rules in no way are detrimental to Chuck's game.

This fight should be with Pride rules.

I mean beggars can't be choosers but it would be much better to see them fight under rules with which they both can be as dangerous as possible.

I absolutely agree. I want to see the Wandy we all know and love and not a neutered Wandy fighting Chuck. But I'll take this matchup any way I can get it and hope that if Chuck is victorious that they schedule a rematch in PRIDE rules for the PRIDE belt (Only fair if Chuck's putting the belt on the line in November)

Well, Chuck does use the cage a lot to stand up, so that's a big part of his game. And soccer kicks wouldn't play a big role in this fight since the only way Chuck goes down and stays down long enough to use them would be if/when he's KTFO'd. Just IMHO.

Watch his Pride fights. He has NO problem at all standing up in the ring. If he can get up from underneath Rampage in a ring then I highly doubt that Wand can hold him down long enough for the lack of walls to play a role.

Chuck is more dangerous inside a cage, he is master of using the cage to get back up.

That's pretty ridiculous. Chuck has been in soccer kick range manyy times in his career and it could easily happen vs Wanderlei.
