Wand says America might be bigger than Japan in terms of fights

I was just reading the top story on sherdog and it had wandy's Q&A and he was saying he wants to fight in america cause he thinks soon america will be bigger than japan in terms of fights. i think he is spot on with that comment and i am so happy he feels embraced by american fans and sees america as his next frontier. unbehalf of my country wanderlei, WELCOME!!!

well whenever a UFC show gets 15million viewers then yes it will be bigger.

They cream their prepubescent panties when they hear people talk about UFC so they can instantly start talking about PRIDE to look special and more 'in-the-know'.

the future of MMA is in america, because thats where the best fighters are coming from, arguably other then brazil, however brazil is way to underdeveloped to have events that rival pride and UFC,

while i agree with the wand, i also think it will take a few years, but even now mma is getting more mainstream there was an article on ESPN.com a few days back, and with FSN and SPIKE its not long before ppl get exposed, and the one thing that we KNOW about mma is EXPOSURE=NEW FANS
