Wand fought with a broken rib!

It is weird that nobody is talking about that. Maybe it is because you guys did not get the translation.

After the fight against Fujita, Wand took the mic and first he thanked God a lot, and told that he had a broken rib 3 weeks before, and he would not be able to fight but because of the fans he came and fought anyway. He thanked GOD again for letting him be there and then started to thank the fans and say that without the fans the fighters would be nothing.

In my personal opinion, not only to please the fans, but i think that Wand felt pressured to fight after all that has been happening with him and Pride manegement. He felt that if he pulled out of the fight it could be bad for his relation with pride.

Anyway, it shows a lot of heart and comitiment to fight. To fight against a heavyweight with a broken rib. It was great!

Well when your insane you do gutsy things.I did that once but I HAD to drop out.I broke 2 of them and there was a chance of alot more serious damage.It hurts like hell thou.Especially when a bear like fujita is laying on top of you.

I had always been a BTT fan, so I did not liked much Wand. But after that I am a new fan. He was so humble. He showed so much heart and his faith seemed so true that it kind of touched me a litle.
Anyway, Respect for Wand!

I forgot what happened with Kalib, but his ribs weren't broken. Kalib posted the injury he had, and supposedly it's worse then broken ribs.

Wand broke a rib 3 weeks before the fight, so it had healed quite a bit but i am sure he still had nagging pains from it and especially after getting hit there, he did not say which side it was on but Fujita was giving him shots to the ribs on his left side on the ground.
