Of course I don't want to jump the bandwagon yet and wait to see how he does vs. top fighters in the WW division unlike H. Alexander.

ya i heard he got like 9 days notice or sumtin crazy like that. And if u watch the fight he was detroying im in round 1 almost knocked him out at one point i think he wud of taken it for sure with more time. Also he looks huge during this interview no way does he look like a welter weight. Id say he weights at least 200 maybe more during the interview

Yea he was huge, and his arms hang are really long to.

the hype on this guy is the most ridiculous.

to me

sok and houston were waaaay more justified.

sok beat two top 10 guys back to back, houston beat jardine and sakara back to back and looked very violent in doing so.

what did anthony johnson do?

lose to clementi... beat some guy who lost the tuf finale...

hype aside that interview is awful. its basically an infomercial for that guys gym and that guys sponsors.

The hype isn't at the same level. People like this guy. There's only a few morons who are saying he's gonna beat GSP.

I think Johnson is gonna be big, not because he beat Tommy Speer, but because he has very good striking, takedown defense, is freaking massive, and is still very young. He's not even near top 10 yet, but the potential is definitely there.

I totally agree with you!! This guy is only 24 years old and had only 6 fights with only 1 lost (to Clementi because of the crazy amount of weight he had to cut in ONE Week) so he has plenty of time to improve his game and get some help from the best coaches in the mma game. He said he's currently training with Cung Le and also planning to move to LV to also train at Extreme Couture so Im sure this guy will be even more explosive and more well rounded fighter.

I'm glad people aren't hyping him up like they were after his win over Speer. Hes good and has alot of potential, but what people were saying was just ridiculous
