Video: CroCop interview on NovaTV news

I don't know if this has already been posted or not...

CroCop's interview: http://dnevnik.hr/naslovnica/vijesti..._2648_9970.php

translation (sorry for my bad english )

Nova: OK... There's a Grand Prix going to be held on sunday and 4 of the best fighters are going to fight, with the exception of Fedor Emelianenko. Your opponent in the semis is Wanderlei Silva... I read in the newspaper that you said he's pretty wild and agressive fighter.

CC: Well that's his style in the ring and also in his private life... I've fought with all three participants and lost to Minotauro, won two times against Barnett and had a draw with Silva. But now I'm ready, i managed to heal my injuries, my left leg is still not in the condition it ought to be, but it's recovered enough for me to fight and that I can kick with it.

Nova: The final round of the GP is specific because the semis and the finals are held on the same day, that's of course physicaly very hard and exhausting, how did you prepare for that and are you fully ready?

CC: I'm prepared very good. It's going to be the biggest test in my career. I once fought three fights in one night, it was at K-1 turnament back in '99, but this is much harder because of the element of wrestling, and it really tires you quickly, and of course the opponents are the best there are out there.

Nova: You said that everything is now ok with your left leg... but some of the viewers were sometimes under the impression that you had problems with the conditioning factor, that's because you can't breathe through nose, so you must use your mouth. Can that handicap you in anyway?

CC: I have a big problem with breathing, my nose was broken two times and I can't breathe with my nose, and because of that when they see me breathing with my mouth, they think that i'm out of condition. Against Yoshida I heard many comments like "he's not ready", but I just can't breathe any other way, then through my mouth.

Nova: Just one more question.... Mike Tyson... the youngest world champion in the history, man who made 300million $ and is now broke. The latest information is that he's training for some money in one of the Las Vegas hotels and he made an announcment that he's gonna fight. Would it be a challenge for you to fight Mike Tyson and do you believe it can really happen?

CC: Not just for me, but for every fighter it would be a great challenge and even honor to fight Mike Tyson, he's one of the greatest in the history of boxing and it's a tragedy that someone who made that amount of money is left without everything and has to teach boxing in Las Vegas hotels for a little sum of money. By my information he signed with Pride and I'll get the details when I arrive to Japan. I should be the first in line to fight him, of course if I won't get injured. When is it going to happen, I don't know, but it's not going to be in Japan, because he's not allowed to enter the country (Mirko says it has something to do with him being convicted for raping). It could happen in Peking, but I don't know when.

Nova: Mirko thank you. We wish you good luck on sunday and of course our viewers can watch the whole GP on Nova TV.

I wonder if Mirko would fight Tyson @ the real deal ppv in Vegas. then there would be concern over obtaining a travel visa.

If he fought Tyson ,I wonder what the rules would be? Straight boxing? MMA? I don't think Tyson has any ground experience whatsoever, or even kicking for that matter. If it's boxing he'll smash the shit out of CC, if it's kickboxing or MMA C.C. should eat him for breakfast.

at this point Tyson could very easily also lose in a straight boxing match.
