Maybe this subject's been brought up already buuuut...
"The Phenom" BJ Penn???
Sure the guy is fucking Phenomenal but
is it because he's aged passed his title of "The Prodigy" that they're doing this??
Is it his OFFICIAL nickname now??

I agree. Hopefully the new nickname isn't a bad omen to signal that he's going the way of the original "Phenom".

Yeah, it started to go that way. If I remember right they were calling him the Phenom right around the first Randy fight and then he got his ass kicked for the first time. After that he just wasn't nearly as scary anymore, although he didn't go completely to crap right afterwards. He waited a few fights for that. __________________
