UFC's Current Rankings

This isn't an order of Top Ten overall, this is more along the lines of who's in line for a title shot, and how that line stands currently.

I may be wrong on some of these so if I am feel free to voice an opinion on why I should adjust or change the rankings. This has nothing to do with "A is better than B, even though A is 0-2 in the UFC and B is 1-0!" because that's not what these are about. I don't care who's better unless it comes down to a tie breaker. This is strictly how I would guess the UFC ranking ladder to the title looks at this moment.

I didn't do lightweight yet because it hasn't been established enough.

Welterweight:

1) Matt Hughes-current champion
2) GSP-#1 contender, beat Penn, Sherk, Trigg, and Miller. 6-1 in UFC
3) BJ Penn-gets the title shot in GSP absence, last person to beat Hughes. 6-2-1 in UFC
4) Diego Sanchez-beat Parysian, Alessio, and Diaz. 5-0 in UFC
5) Parysian-supposed to have a title shot, was #1 contender, beat Diaz, Thompson, Lytle. 5-2 in UFC
6) Fitch-beat Burkman, beat undefeated Brock Larson, beat Thiago Alves. 3-0 in UFC
7) Riggs-beat Diaz, beat Von Flue, beat Lytle-only 170 loss to Hughes 4-3 in UFC, 3-1 at 170.
8) Burkman-beat Fickett, beat Neer, beat Morgan. 3-1 in UFC
9) Diaz-beat Neer, beat Fickett, beat Oishi, beat Lawler. 5-4 in UFC
10) Fickett-beat Kocheck, beat Neer, beat Pelligrino. 3-2 in UFC
HM) Koscheck-beat Menne, beat Goulet, beat Spratte, beat Chalangov, beat Sanford. 5-1 in UFC

I think Koscheck will move way up very soon, but I put him below Fickett due to the loss, and due to Fickett winning some good matches against Neer and Pellegino.

Middleweight:

1) Franklin-champion
2) Silva-decimated Leben and is getting a title shot which makes him #1 contender. 1-0 in UFC
3) Marquardt-beat Salavarry, beat Doerkson, is 2-0 in UFC
4) Loseiau-beat Tanner, beat McCarthy, beat Ray, former #1 contender. 4-2 in UFC
5) Tanner-beat Terrell, beat Levens, beat Lawler, beat Baroni, etc. 9-4 in UFC
6) David Terrell-beat Lindland, beat Smith. 2-1 in UFC
7) Swick-beat Riggs, beat Ray, etc 4-0 in UFC
8) Leben-beat Rivera, Dewees, Fiorivanti, Santiago, Cote. 6-1 in UFC
9) Lister-beat Sakara, beat Sasaki, is 2-0 in UFC
10) Sonnen- beat Prangley, 1-2 in UFC
HM) Prangley-beat Stout, beat Lutter. 2-2 in UFC
HM) Quarry-beat Sell, beat Carter, beat Sincaid, out since 2005. 3-1 in UFC

Light Heavyweight:

1) Liddell-champion
2) Ortiz-beat Cote, beat Shamrock, beat Belfort, beat Griffin. 13-4 in UFC
3) Babalu-beat Arsdale, beat Sonnen, beat Wiuff. 5-3 in UFC
4) Griffin-beat BonnarX2, beat Mahood, beat Sinisic. 4-1 in UFC
5) Lambert-beat Hinkle, Martin, McDonald. 3-0 in UFC
6) Rashad Evans-beat Bonnar, beat Hoger, beat Imes. 3-0 in UFC
7) Bonnar-beat Hoger, beat Jardine, beat Irvin. 3-2 in UFC
8) Jardine-beat Whitehead, beat Schall, beat Gouveia. 3-1 in UFC
9) Bisping-beat Haynes, winner of TUF. 1-0 in UFC
10) Gouveia- beat Combs. 1-1 in UFC
HM) Hamill-bear Forbes. 1-0 in UFC

Heavyweight:

1) Sylvia-champion
2) Monson-beat Cruz, beat Hinkle, beat Perosh. 4-2 in UFC
3) Vera-beat Scherner, beat Eilers, beat Silva. 3-0 in UFC
4) Arlovski-beat Matyushenko, beat Eilers, beat Buentello, beat Sylvia. 7-4 in UFC
5) Kongo-beat Aldana, beat Wellisch, 2-0 in UFC
6) Cruz-beat Mir, beat Kunihara. 2-1 in UFC
7) Mir-beat Sylvia, Christison, Tank, Sims. 7-2 in UFC
8) Gonzaga-beat Jordan, Scherner. 2-0 in UFC
9) O'Brien-beat Midoux. Undefeated. 1-0 in UFC
10) Assuero Silva 0-2 in UFC. Good fighter though.
HM) Christison-beat Imes. 1-1 in UFC

Just for fun.

Where's Swick? I'd put in above Quarry and Leben even though he lost to Leben in the past.
