UFC's big sponsor (Xyience) a big joke with sham contest!
Xyience is a complete joke. Let's look at the girls who "followed the rules" and won the Xenergy Girl contest...
1) Tammy - no talking, no dancing, just walks around the gym
2) Candi - again, no talking, no dancing. Not even that good looking. A very well produced video that highlights Chuck Liddell's cameo more than the contestant. ANY girl could have been used and the video wouldn't have been that different. Obviously, Candi has the right, um, "connections" to win.
3) Kelly - I can't find her video and don't remember seeing it. No profile either!!!! Unless you count the one that's completely blank and comes up if you search under "Kelly." This girl must be EXTRA "connected."
These girls girls should thank their agents (or whoever they "connected" with) for getting this gig. Xyience...These were your own rules that you refused to follow. Why even have a contest? I want to commend the girls who entered this contest and put some actual effort and talent into their video/profile submissions. The videos mentioned above barely followed ANY of the rules (ie. stating name, age, showing profile shot, saying why they like Xenergy, etc). But hey, it looks like one of the girls didn't even have to submit a video or profile at all to become a finalist. I wish I could be rewarded with so much for doing so little.
Keep in mind, I am not a fellow contestant. I am a guy who has followed this contest since the beginning and watched all the videos. I do know one of the contestants but there are many in addition to her that worked hard, looked great, followed the rules and deserve credit. From what I have heard within the industry, Xyience is a financial mess and completely mismanaged. Apparently, the people who were in charge of this contest at its inception are no longer with the company. Hmmm. Explains a lot. I used to drink Xyience products. (At least when I would go to the few places that would carry them....basically overpriced GNC). But no longer. Diet Rockstar tastes better anyway.
Xyience....Complete joke of a company in every way. Enjoy the rest of this sham contest. Best wishes and thanks to the girls who did a great job and deserved to (but unfortunately, did not) win.
