UFC Weight Divisons...

I searched for this one but couldn't find anything. Do fighters get to decide what weight class they want to fight in? I would think that Dana and the UFC would or should have a problem with a lot of heavyweights (Jardine, Rashad, Whitehead etc) dropping to light heavyweight since the heavyweight divison is (IMO) the divison with the far less talent.

for the most part, I think they have a good amount of freedom to choose where they want to fight...I mean, I can't imagine Dana telling Riggs to move down to MWT...then to WW.

Dana will tell Silvia to cut off his arm so he can fight in the LHW division.

thats a sad attempt at trolling man....

Anyway back to topic, I think that BJ's proposed plans of UFC dominance also show that fighters do have a certain amount of freedom.
