UFC/WEC Organizational Rankings
I've never understood why people choose to rank fighters together from different orgs. Doesn't make sense to me. So these are my UFC only and WEC only rankings by division.
*Disclaimer- These rankings, like all rankings, are still just opinion and you're all welcome to correct me where you feel you would have done something different. I'm just gonna rank the contenders too. Obviously the champ is #1.

Can't argue too much with your rankings. I like ranking all the fighters together though. It puts free agency into perspective.

I would rank Anderson Silva at LHW. Probably just before Forrest, or maybe before Evans also.

I guess both systems have their pros and cons.
To me ranking all fighters together leans more towards a fantasy style of rankings.
Organizational rankings give you a good overview of a division and who should be close to getting a title shot.

not bad except randy shouldn't be ranked the only top ten he has beat is Gonzoga and that was 2 years ago
also if you are going to rank Rampage because he still has a contract so dose Liddell

Probably right about Randy but is Chuck coming back? I didn't think he was.

I disagree. Shogun only has one top ten win in the past two years, but pretty obviously should be ranked top 3 at LHW, and thats because he looked impressive in his last fight even though he didn't win. Couture looked top 10 caliber in both the Lesnar and Nog fights, so he should still be ranked.

ufc lw's don't look too good. You are not giving Sherk enough props. He dominated Kenny and get's beat by only Penn and Edgar and you have him 10th behind lesser guys like Clay and Nate diaz. He also beat Griffin just 2 fights ago, although it was close. Clay defenitely needs to drop on that list. He shouldn't be higher then Sherk, Griffin, or stevenson.

I just took a shower and I thought about it and I agree with you. Randy's performances against Nog and Lesnar keeps him in the top ten.
