UFC a true underdog story...

So the pattern has been dana flying chuck overseas to cross promote and pride not reciprocating cause they don't consider ufc as worthy or maybe just being cheap asses & exploiting dana's generous attempt at cross promotion. Since pride is not willing to share the talent the only thing dana could do is pick up free agents.

Finally we get a exciting foreign fighter in silva who has made a impressive debut, and im fucking giddy at the thought of the match up between him and franklin yet all i've been reading is how he's gonna singlehandily destroy the ufc mw division and pride is victorious again and a whole new wave of ufc bashing by the hardcore pride fans because imo silva will awlays be considered by the fans and dana to be a pride fighter.

Sorry if im boring some, or the topics been done before but im just saying argueing between which is better pride or ufc is about as pointless as argueing over our fantasy match ups of fedor v arlovski, franklin v hendo, liddell v wandy. by the 3rd post all objectivity is out the window and turns into how much a cocksucker or dumbass noob the next poster is. Fuck its getting old. All i know is ufc is the most prominent exposure of mma we have in the states and has had the greatest influence of growing exposure in american cultyre leading to growth of availbilty of smaller shows where one can watch live fights. UFC imo will never be as prominent to the public as pride cus of the cultural difference i mean in japan its a freaking passtime, here its still "that crazy shit where ppl try to kill each other in cages" But can't we tone down the bashing a little or at least try to be objective, and just enjoy the sport and maybe one day we'll see fedor dropping elbows and franklin throwing soccer kicks.

We're on sherdog, this is how it is all the time. I wish ppl could be objective, but in interweb land everyone thinks they can be a dick.
