Alistair Overeem top 10?

I just checked out MMAweekly's top 10 rankings and Alistair continues to be on the top 10 with another embarassing loss. Do you guys feel he deserves a spot on the top 10? I don't see how hes on that list and especially above Nakamura. hes #10 if hes on there at all. go ahead and flame or give input!

I wouldn't call losing to Arona embrassing.I'd say he is still in the top 10.

i don't know if he's in the top ten, but he is a better fighter than he's shown recently. he just needs a long rest and he'll come back strong.

Overeem should be out of the top 10 till he lives up to his ability and KOs someone in the top 10. He's so inconsistent...

I'm just saying his loss to Arona was in a matter that no fighter should be proud of. And his loss to lil Nog after dominating most of the fight and having the towel thrown after a little flurry.. come on.. I know hes better then that

both fights he was injured prior to the finish
against nog he came in with a bad neck which is very very bad for a fighter
against arona a leg kick injured his knee making him unable to properly defend himself

Consecutive losses to top 5 guys doesn't mean you're not top ten. Who are your top ten? Alistair is top ten for sure, though I'll agree with you that putting him above Nakamura is ridiculous.

MMA weekly rankings are worthless, period. They have Tito and Rampage above Nakamura as well, despite the fact that Rampage's only two wins against top fighters since he beat Chuck in 2003 are a headbutt knockout against Arona and a controversial decision against Ninja. Tito doesn't have a top win in almost 6 years, and certainly isn't top ten. Why pick on Alistair? There are far more dubious fighters on that list.

I dont know if he is top 10, Nak has had some good wins lately except for a loss to Barnett.
