UFC's PPV buys won't go up that much.
They are having way more PPV's than they did before.
They are also having some free events on SPIKE.
They also have the TUF show.
All of this will ease the hunger every time a PPV comes around. I buy everyone and always have my friends over.

Dana may be sabotaging Ortiz's stock by having him face Lyoto and others that most people wouldn't pay to see. Ortiz may be potentially the biggest draw the UFC has. What a mistake to let this guy go. Good for whoever picks him up, they will have great success. I for one would like to see Jardine/Ortiz Rampage/Ortiz Wanderlei/Ortiz or even Liddell/Ortiz 3 F Shamrock/Ortiz 2

Actually, I believe Ortiz v Griffin was the #1 PPV up to that point in UFC history. I cannot find any PPV before that, that did more than 425 K buys.

Interesting that the 4 biggest PPV draws (Liddell, Ortiz, Couture, & Hughes), basically only Liddell is left. Ortiz is leaving unless something happens, Couture ain't coming back, & Hughes probably only wants to fight Serra, then retire.
