Yea a few people have actually mentioned they've read interviews where they said the people from Afflicton said they don't expect to be around long and this is basically just to get word about the clothing brand.

Sad if that turns out true.

I never said there was a difference. I was comparing Tim to Barnett if you read my post completely. And do you really need to question why Fedor is fighting?

lol. I think the Affliction card looks good, but not that good. For one, they are pretty much all Heavyweights, and they aren't all A level guys. Rothwell, and Rizzo are not A level guys, and neither are Babalu and Whitehead (maybe an argument for Babalu, but definitely not Whitehead)

I think the Affliction card looks great, don't get me wrong, but it's a huge stretch to say it's better than anything the UFC ever did, lol.

Those people at Affliction are obviously smart business people if they can get people to pay that much for a shirt.

I'm sure they know it is impossible to put on huge cards like that, being a unknown in the business, and still be successful.

How the hell does that compare to Fedor vs Tim for the Wamma Title as the number one in the world. This makes no sense. If silva wins...big deal. If he loses then this is going to kill the integrity of his title. I am going to take the all star of fight cards over Anderson on free tv that i can tape and watch later. Nice try dana.

would anyone here skip the Affliction Fight to Watch Anderson fight a guy with a KO over suspect chin Huston Alexander when you can tape it and watch it later. Even if the Affliction card stinks...it will be fun to see all those huge names on one card.
Im gonna watch both especially if the UFC is on Spike TV. To TV's and watch at the same time. But this UFC card, although we havent seen any fights, wont compare. None of the 85 UFC shows they have done in 15 are better then the Affliction card.

+1. This is exactly what the ufc is doing and it's going to sabotage a potential competitor's buzz and buy rates--well played move from a business standpoint. From a fan's standpoint, I love the fact that I get two free mma events that day. I will be watching the spider light up Irvin for free on spike then watching the free stream of affliction afterward. Can't wait!
