Not important? What Zuffa has done for the sport has made the goldmine for MMA be the United States. Why else do you think PRIDE is coming over after all this time? WHy else do you think Sakaikibara is stating that the UFC can pay great these days and american promotions are able to steal away their talent. Obviously they know what they are doing and you are still clueless.

WTF is happening? It's getting on cable television, next HBO. PPV buys through the roof, even in my rinky dink town we are starting to get "Ultimate Fighting" events. What they are doing to the sport is making it grow. Boo hoo you can't keep your little pocket sport anymore.. Hurts you deep down inside when a little 5 year old has a UFC shirt on doesn't it? Suck it up and hang with the other emos and goths out there that need to be different to feel special.

Yeah, why not accept the NBC deal? Or the FOX deal? Good question, because obviously the major networks were offering up the dough for a sport noone heard of.
Face it, UFC is taking over because they have the momentum and the attention of the most lucrative sports market in the world. Now with that sad reality facing you, you are now permitted to go behind your bed to cry and kick the wall while breaking all your crayons.
