Does Tito understand how bad he needs to win this fight??

If Tito loses this fight, he's basically out of the running for a 205v belt forever. Tito thinks hes Mr. famous and Dana is going to keep throwing money at him. But the thing is, Tito isnt as famous as he thinks he is,and although Tito definitly had his time, Dana isnt going to throw money at Tito, probobly ever again if he loses--so this is it TO, if you lose--a rematch with forest might actually be wishful thinking.

PS I respect Ortiz, But I think we all know with the history, If Dana doesnt have a $really$ good reason to bring back TO, he wont.(at least for big money)

I disagree. Tito may be the most famous fighter in the UFC, second only to maybe Chuck. And at this point names sell, and if you are well known it doesn't matter how good you are.

And if he loses, he will still have title shots in the future, but they likely won't be in the UFC.

I think Rashad will submit Tito by tickling, bringing a new weapon into the Octagon and changing the face of MMA forever.

Tito knows this fight is the most important fight of his career...however, there is nothing he can do to stop Rashad from kicking his ass.

You can only imagine the trash talk Tito will spew if he actually wins.

My money is on something like: "These TUF guys are nothing - I beat Forrest, I beat Rashad, Dana needs to find some tougher fighters for his little show."

Tito has not impressed me in a long time for a full fight he looked good against Forrest in the first round and against chuck in the 2nd round but besides that he has been boring the fuck out of me for the last 3 years.

Beating up Ken Shamrock the last two times does not count.

Even if Tito wins this fight where does he go from here? The more I look at the UFC it seems that Tito doesn't fit. A loss would spell disaster but a win, even a poor performance win, will leave him as a middle of the pack 205er.

He has name recognition plain and simple so win or lose this fight, Tito is still a top fighter for the UFC, just think about how much money the UFC made from the Shamrock vs. Tito feud even though the fights weren't the best, particularly the third one.
