Can somone please clarify for me what is going on in the div for the UFC? Recently i read kenny flo talking about how his bout with sean sherk was for the ufc lighweight championchip. I'm assuming its not true. Also, for fun, who do you bealive should/would be the lightweight champion?

Technically, Jens, but i think if it where between a fight it should be Duane Vs Jens for the UFC lightweight championchip.

Yeah, it's Florian/Sherk at UFC 64 for the title. Pulver is going to coach TUF 5 and presumably fight for the title during or after that, as he will be a bigger name (to casual fans) after being on TUF. Ludwig just got spanked a couple months back by Tyson Griffin who is making his UFC debut at 63.

Jens vs Duane is unlikely seeing as how they are both teammates at MFS. Personally, i think they should hold a tournament to see who the champ should be. But that will NEVER happen in the UFC.

Sherk will be fighting Florian for the title at UFC 64 in October. And Sherk rightfully deserves to be the LW Champion being as nobody in the division will be able to touch him.
