If you have a few rounds where no one does anything, and you give a slight edge to the same guy, then the other fighter dominates the rest of the last round, it sucks you can't award a win to the fighter who was more dominate for the majority of the fight.

That's why they need to do more 10-8 and even 10-7 rounds.

If it was easier to get a 10-8 round, you wouldn't be as screwed if you lost a close round like the one you are describing.

It is still a matter of opinion when it comes down to it. I don't care what the rules say or how the scorng is supposed to be like, judges don't always go by that.

G. The heavier striker who lands with efficiency, deserves more credit from the Judges than total number landed.

This should be a sticky. It's quite annoying when people complain about judging when they haven't really read how the judges score the fights.

Just curious as to how you know what the background and expertise of these judges are? Was your claim based on an assumption?

the juges at ufc fights are also judges ive seen in boxing
