UFC HW lookin good!
The UFC HW's are this year, if not more prestigious, then at least alot more exciting in regards to possible matchups.
In Pride Fedor has yet to fight Josh and Sergei, but both of them have come off tough losses in the last year and both should in all fairness beat either eachother or Nog to get a title shot.
In the UFC you have Sylvia, AA, Werdum, CC and Randy dancing around the top with Cruz, Gonzaga and Herring lurking around in the background.
CC vs everyone and Randy vs everyone are all marquee matchups and any combo of the 6 remaining are competitive and stellar matches compared to the UFC HW clashes of last year.
There is a life in the UFC HW div which Pride probably would need a HW GP to match or exceed.
2007 might be the year of the HW and CC might actually climb to the top with good performances vs his UFC compatriots while Fedor might slip one spot down if he refrains from fighting anyone ranked.
Thoughts/opinions?

UFC HW is at a high point. It hasnt been this good in a few years. If the UFC as able to keep Vera. It would be amazing. Vera was a crucial part to the division (just as much as CC was)

The UFC HW division is looking a whole lot better. I am excited about this year.
As far as Fedor, I don't believe it is up to him to pick out his opponents. We can't really fault him for who he fights as he does not set up his fights. There aren't very many intriguing HW matchups for him in Pride so far with the exception of Barnett and Sergei. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Big Nog go at it again.

Hardonk, Assuerio Silva, Kongo, PDP, and even Mir arent bad fighters in the HW division either. They just arent at the top. Imagine if Vera was still in the UFC. That'd be great
And in Pride, Monson is now in Pride.
