UFC on Fuel TV undercard
Im working on my Sherdog fantasy MMA picks for this next event and was hoping someone had some info/opinions on the following fights/fighters:
Tim Means vs Bernardo Magalhaes
Anton Kuivanen vs Justin Salas
Buddy Roberts vs Sean Loeffler
I'll give my opinions on the little tape i've watched after a few responses.

if i have time im gonna post an indepth analysis closer to the fight.
Picks are:
Mean
Kuivanen
Roberts
kuivanen is a nasty prospect, happy that hes finally in the ufc. salas beat jake ellenbergers formerly 12-0 little brother, in a fight to see who would get into the ufc. Roberts is just all around better than sean. Tim means got some ko power. trekko is a good prospect as well. picked means just cause im more familiar with him.

I'm only familiar with Magalhaes. Saw a fight between him and some kickboxer with pretty much zero TDD, Trekko coasted to a decision. It wasn't pretty or particularly exciting, and I really think he should have tried to sub his opponent. I picked him against Means but I really have no idea.

Well... Justin Salas is my bosses son in law. This is his big shot. Hope he wins! I know little about his opponent.

Kuivanen is beastly, but his TDD isn't great. I think Salas grinds him out. Agree on the other two.

From what i saw of magalhaes he has some wild standup that he mostly uses to set up his takedowns. He can drop some nice elbows from top position but isn't super dynamic grappling wise. One big red flag for him was that he has all but one of his fights went to decision, even against pretty damn crappy competition.
Tim Means only had one or two fights online i could find and from what i saw he has some nice standup, ok grappling and he did well getting back up to his feet.
I'm leaning toward Means by (t)ko because Magalhaes likely won't finish him, and Means' standup and TDD seems sufficient to counter what magalhaes brings to the table.

I am also in the dark, but from what I've seen and read:
Roberts UD over Loeffler - don't think he'll finish, but he's got the wrestling and camp to grind out wins.
Means TKO over Magalhaes - very unfamiliar with both but Magalhaes seems a 'control grappler' like Maia of late, and has been fighting in a smaller genepool in Australia. Means has experience and KO power.
Salas UD over Kuivanen - if in doubt, back the wrestler!

These are pretty much my picks as well. I was gonna go with Salas via top control UD but saw that he's been submitted a few times & that Kuivanen has numerous sub wins on his record. That being said I have Kuivanen via long shot sub from the bottom.
