UFC fans double standard on Babalu & maybe Horn

First, I heard fans were upset at the UFC that the UFC let Babalu go after UFC 40. Then now fans say things like "Babalu sucks now," or "Babalu doesn't belong in the UFC" after UFC 62.

Come on guys...

Some fans said the similar things about Jeremy Horn as well..

Come on guys...

I hate it when fans only like a fighter when they win, but turnaway when they lose..

Its the scourge of MMA. Fans only like people when they're on top, winning matches. I've seen so many people talking crap about Babalu today, only to check their post history and find that on Friday/Saturday they we're Babalu's biggest fan.

Babalu is still an awesome fighter who can be competitive with most at 205, Chuck has his number, and is just a bad match up for him, and last night wasn't his night.

Babalu is a good fighter. He just got caught by a punch he should have known was coming. If he just let chuck back up and waited for him to gas while scoring with legkicks, maybe trying a few takedowns he could have won. NO offense, but chuck didn't exactly look good last night. He was trying to get away from Renato and got one of his counter punches in. How is that dominating?

I still like Babalu, I think his style is a little boring and I was sure he would lose to Chuck but it didn't change my opinion at all.

I agree with ya. Renato was EXTREMELY sloppy and deserved what he got last night. From my view it looked like he just abandoned all stand up skill, swung his arms wildly and got caught. Don't give me that BS about setting up the takedown, he may have been trying to do that but he was swinging his arms around like he'd never fought before, and doing it against the best LHW striker in the UFC and the inevitable happened. I think Babalu is a great fighter and as much as I'd like to see him fight Chuck again it probably ain't gonna happen. I personally thought Renato was going to win and was disapointed with the poor showing he put on. Props to Chuck for doin what he does, shame on Renato for abandoning the skills that got him the shot in the first place. Oh yeah, props to Big John for the nice mount transition.
