UFC cards lacking in interest past the main event.
Has anyone else noticed that the UFC cards coming up lack depth. I know there are some good main events on these cards, but beyond the main event...
I am not willing to fork out my hard earned to watch only one fight of interest.
Is it because we have more cards now each year that we get events that would of been one complete UFC event now spread over two or even three events.
I just look back at the old cards and they had so many good fights. Who can go past UFC 43Meltdown. I never get board watching that card.
Very interested in reading your thoughts on this one.

It probably has more to do with you not knowing anything about up-and-coming fighters than lack of exciting fights. Perhaps you should download a fight or two before making terrible blanket statements.

I think that they have been watering down there cards a bit to get more mileage out of them and stretch them through the year.
But as were starting to see now the UFC is developing talent and putting it on UFC fight nights and the undercards. I think eventually as the sport gets bigger and can afford to support more mega cards well start to see them put on with the talent that the UFC developed on thier smaller shows.

Yes they are getting a little bit better.
The problem is that the ufc is trying to turn mma into boxing where you have 5 warmup-fights that nobody watch. Everybody will turn on their tv when the big fight is on. Thats bad for the lesser fighters and the sport as well. Thats a huge differense between pride and the ufc right there.
And I also heard that they want 5 3 minute rounds. Again bad for the sport and the fans, but great for the company that can put in even more comercials.
Fuck that shit.

Nope, impressed I have to say.

There's a differense between lack in interest and no interest. And if the cards were all that great the Werdum/Gonzaga fight would be one of the smaller earlier fights imo.

+1
The UFC cards is getting better and better but still have a road to go.
Offtopic:
I also HATE the fact that the ufc ppv give sooo much time to talking, commercials and other things instead of giving us more fights imo!
I miss PRIDE
