I hope this is not true, This will ruin the UFC and MMA's credibility altogether.
It will be a sad sad day in MMA if this is true.

I PRAY the WWE rumors are true
Why are you all worried about Vince getting involved? Do you really think he is gonna fix fights, set up a cage match with him vs. Rampage and basically ruin MMA? Are you retarded? You know WWE is meant for entertainment. Why the fuck would he turn MMA into WWE? That would surely turn fans away and ruin the sport. Vince is about making money. MMA is great how it is, so Vince isnt gonna ruin it. Besides Vince is just getting into this for the money, I guaren DAMN tee that he is gonna be like the fertittas and never be seen, while Dana still runs the show. Besides WWE marketing and promotion is way better than what the UFC currently has. It was like PRIDE, which the hardcore fans loved. I actually hope this is true. UFC will still be the same, but with a tune up.
WAR WWE FUSION WITH UFC!!! SHAW IS GOIN DOWN!!!

You had me up until the "UFC sanctioned in New York" part. Listen up, everybody--MMA is illegal in New York. Not just unsanctioned; there is an actual law making it illegal. It doesn't matter how many connections you have with the NYSAC; until you get the legislature to repeal the law, there will be no MMA in New York. And if you think that McMahon can somehow get a house full of state legislators to not only avoid the press but also violate numerous Sunshine statutes to repeal the law in secret so Dana White and Vince McMahon can have their big bombshell press conferece, I've got a bridge I want to sell you. If the ban was to be repealed, NY state legislators would be talking about it non-stop, and you could look up the bill's passage on the web. It hasn't been passed yet (although I hope it will be), and there will be no MMA in NY until it is. Take it to the bank.

I really hope this is wrong. If only because of the strides MMA and the UFC have made to be hindered by the image of the WWF and what that whole business is like.

At the very least a lot of the sports opponents will say as much and a number of fans might say and feel the same way.
