you don't think that Vince would be there with Dana if he bought the UFC?

you really don't think they would hold their own press conference to announce this, but instead invite Brock Lesnar to some crappy CNBC show to announce a deal like this?

VM is the biggest attention whore known to man....he would be all over the TV for this one.

It's funny how someone can post a rumor on a message board, and how big of suckers some people can be for it.

I'm suprised the lot of you aren't in line to buy tickets for the Ghandi/Jesus fight mentioned in one of the threads. It was posted on the interweb...it has to be true

Dana spends a whole interview going over the integrity of MMA, and then he's going to team up with Vince McMahon

Doubt the weight class thing. Seeing as how WEC just brought in the highest numbers ever on Versuses so wouldnt be much of a point to disband WEC. Changing the weighclass structure would cause an unstable flux as to who is where in what division and dana has stated he hates the idea of guys moving up and down in weight classes. My guess, which is as good as anyones, is that it has something to do with Mayweather. I hope not. But that seems more and more likely everyday. I pray its a TV deal. As much as I'd love to see Mayweather get beat up cause I hate hearing him run his mouth, that would just be an all around dissappointment of an announcement to me.

Any connection to Vince McMahon is bad. He's a good businessman, but people will never take it seriously now.

The UFC is currently about $350 million in debt & drowning further by the day - so the Fertitta's selling out at this point was a sound business decision - now that the UFC is no longer a tax write-off for them.

no offense mate, but read the thread before commenting. dana has two announcements planned, one with brock on a cnbc show and another one after hes told his employees on thursday. you're confusing the two.
