Man did you guys read it at all?? If true, Vince would be a MINORITY owner, not the head or anything of that position. It stated that a GROUP of investors bought the ufc, not just one. Which means decisions in regards to the UFC will be and must be approved by the rest/majority of this group. People automatically jump on Vice fuckin up the UFC but in order for him to fuck in it up with his wwe style theatrics, it would have to be approved by the rest of the owners, Dana white, etc. and I highly doubt that they will let him do such a thing. Second of all, Vince has to worry about this company and product fist hand before he could really devote too much attention to the ufc. WWE is his baby and will definitely try to make that a priority over anything else. Why would he devote so much time to something he only has a piece of, when he has to worry about something he clearly owns as a whole all to himself? Which has a lot more value as a whole than the value of the share of the ufc he actually gets?

I know people will jump all over the whole XFL thing…well guys when he ran the xfl, he was running it on his own. And did whatever he wanted until he eventually ran it to the ground. This time around he has people to tell him, who has the same or even more power than him, to basically tell him fuck you if they feel his ideas will fuck up THEIR product. Remember, the Fertitas owned the UFC just by themselves, well if this rumor is true then there are is a group that has to make the decisions when before it was just Lorenzo and Frank. It is much easier to make decisions amongst two people that know each other and like the same things than it is with a large group of folks who have contradicting visions and ideas. People’s ideas will always clash and somehow THE GROUP has to make the right decisions to make the ufc work.

Lastly, minority owners don’t really do jack shit. Magic Johnson is a minority owner of the LA Lakers, rapper Nelly is a minority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats but do they make executive decisions when it comes to the team? Hell No!! The thing about minority owners is they sure as hell pocket their share of the team revenue based on how much their share of the team is. But do they have say on what goes on, absolutely. But like I said earlier, their ideas and suggestions has to be agreed by the rest of the owners.

So guys let’s not get all worked up if Vince gets involved. He will not have more influence than Dana and the rest of the owners/buyers and he will not fuck up the ufc. This time he has people to tell him NO.

Does anyone really give a damn what Dana's big announcement will be?

It feels like we've been here before. With all the razzed dazzle surrounding the Bud lite endorsement, you would have thought the sky opened up and heavenly angels ascended on Earth to pass out free beer.

Well my friends, I saw the last UFC and it seemed like the same old UFC to me. Nothing changed with their partnership with Anheuser-Busch but a big shinny new logo smack dab in the center of the octagon.

Now if Dana announced he will put a cap on the escalating PPV prices, make the arena seats more affordable again, bring back knees and stop putting their marquee fighters on the backburner...I just might uncork the bubbly.

If Dana comes forth to announce he will be putting extra millions in his bank account because of some deal, while most of America can't afford to put gas in their car, I will Perceive his glorified announcement as a exercise in vanity, greed and I may stop supporting the sport for good my friends

Most of the people didnt even read what the thread is about, they assume that even if this is true that vince is buying the UFC by himself.

He would be a minority owner, meaning he is just investing money, an probably his TV and PPV connections

He just wants a little taste of the glory, to see what it tastes like
