UFC All Access Jinx

If I'm not mistaken, the 1st installment featured Rich Franklin and after that show aired, he broke his hand, broke his nose and got dismantled while losing his belt.

Andrei Arlovski - Injured his leg and lost his belt after a lackluster performance to Tim Sylvia.

Tito Ortiz - Torn ACL during or before the Forrest Griffin fight. The Shamrock fight really doesn't count since in my opinion was an exhibition bout. We will have to wait for the Chuck Liddell fight.

Babalu - Embarassing loss to Chuck Liddell after All Access aired.

Now UFC All Access - Matt Hughes. Will the trend continue. We will see!

hopefully i hope not then we would have to have a rubber match with matt hughes and gsp and i dont think the ufc wants that either

Franklin and Tito WON the fights that all access was hyping.

Whereas AA and Babalu LOST badly.

Only the odd All Access shows give good luck. The even ones spell doom. As for Franklin's later bad luck, well all fighters lose eventually so you can't blame All Access for that. And Tito's injury was pre All Access and his future against Liddell still remains to be seen. But All Access has no control over that.

It can also be interpreted that All Access tends to be badluck for foreign fighters.

If you stretch hard enough, you can find a curse, but if you are rational...there is no curse. As for the injuries you named, injured hands and ACL's are somewhat common not only in this sport but almost all sports.

If GSP is resorting to praying for a jinx, Hughes is really in his head. This one might get ugly. I see Hughes having GSP face down in a crucifix while smacking GSP's ass until the ref steps in and says that's enough and ends it.
