UFC 74, August 25, ABQ, New Mexico.
I wrote an email to a news station earlier today asking about a rumored UFC event taking place here in Albuquerque. Here is the email I wrote and the response I got.

Hello,

My name is Joseph and I am writing you regarding a news story aired last night (23rd of April) about an upcoming UFC event possibly taking place here in Abq. I was wondering if you had any more information on this story that you could share with me.

Thank you for anything you do.

MARK YOUR CALENDER FOR AUGUST 25TH BECAUSE THE UFC WILL MAKE A STOP IN
THE DUKE CITY. DIEGO SANCHEZ, WHO IS 19-1 OVERALL AND GRADUATED FROM DEL NORTE
HIGH SCHOOL, WILL BE ON THE CARD. YES FOLKS, THE OCTOGON IS COMING. AN OPPONENT HAS NOT YET BEEN NAMED FOR DIEGO. THE PIT IS A POSSIBLE VENUE.

Good info. That's awesome that the UFC is coming over to ABQ, New Mexico. I wonder who Diego will have to fight. Maybe Fitch?

UFC 74: AUGUST 25, 2007 (location TBA)

-Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
-Georges St. Pierre vs. TBA
