Yeah, that's a shame that a fighter that won 10 straight made $20,000 for a title fight. And as a foreigner he pays 30% to taxes immediately, so Babalu went back to Brazil with $13,000. Holy shit, that is weak! $13,000!!

Man, Dana is laughing at all the suckers he screws over......how can a fighter step in to the cage for $2,000? $5,000? While the "sport is now mainstream, " and "the sport is exploding, with millions of viewers!" To quote Rogan.

lol.. Chuck gets 250k while Babablabuuuu gets 21k. Crocop is probably getting that much for 2 fights in the same night against two of the best in the world. UFC pisses their money away on Chuck and Tito way too much.

Every mainstream sport has public salaries, why not MMA? Is MMA still underground, or something? Are you embaraased by the weak salaries, or what? Why would anyone want the salaries of a large sport to be private? NO SPORT is private.
Do you think everyone should have access to your salary? Are you even old enough to work and actually have a job?

Since Tyson is big here lately, do you think he appreciated having his salary public?

Some of us work at companies that have decided mmaweekly is a blocked site, and sherdog is not, yet.

Can someone post the data instead of the link please ?

I wonder how much Cro Cop makes per fight. I know he refused to fight for $150,000 for the second fight of the OWGP finals. He laughed at $150,000, so he must be making some serious money.

If anyone read in an interview or whatever let us know. I think he deserves the big bucks, but I still hope Wandy knocks his face in. And, also I am collecting donations for the UFC fighters so that they can get their electricity turned back on.

I'm sure White had other reasons for not making fighter pay public but no fighter wants his pay publicized. I've never heard a fighter (or athlete for that matter) say in an interview exactly want they net every year. It's privater information. You might know what their contract is worth but they don't go bragging about want they bring home every week.

The pont is that EVERY major sport in the U.S. with professional athletes post their salaries. ALL OF THE MAJOR SPORTS. Why not MMA? I am sure Tyson didn't give a damn, he was proud of that money he made, like most pro athletes are.

But the problem is that this exposes the weak UFC salaries, huh? Kinda hard to be proud of making $2,000 or $5,000 a fight, though. That is Dana's fault, not the fighter's fault. The fighter's deserve more money, and that is a FACT.
