Yet IMO Gomi, Hansen, Kawajiri, Shaolin, Sakurai and perhaps a couple of others are all rated above EACH* of those guys. Like I said, in my opinion that is.

I am looking forward to several of those matchups, very exciting division IMO
Would love to see BJ Penn drop down and join that group. that would be sweet!

Sakurai at 155? Since when?

I don't mind the Pride nuthugging, but topic said UFC 155.

And yeah, I'd love a 155 UFC tourney

WAR STOUT--after he improves his sprawl and overall ground game

A division being stacked and being the top rated in the world are two different things.

Having a bunch of talented fighters = stacked

Oh and threadstarter forgot Hermes Franca

Pride's lightweight division is 160, but I'm not just refering to Pride since I did mention Shaolin (If you know who that is). I do agree that the division looks good, and it is about time since lightweights are the most entertaining fighters in the world, but they only got a couple top guys. I just hope they bring in some competition for Sherk and Lil Evil.

Hominick and France where very smart additions too.

screw all that UFC 155 jazz yeah i'm glad to see it back, in fact i'm almost *ahem* high on life about it, it is still weak compaired to the pride lightwieghts like what has already been said gomi hansen sakurai azerado (although him and yves would be a match i would love to see), lets not forget HERO'S and other orgs with kid, sudo and shaolin, UFC's lightwieght division is still second or thrid fiddle
but that said i still love it
