UFC 104 does 500,000 buys, 360,000-375,000 for UFC 106
UFC 104, 106 PPV Buyrate Updates : MMAPayout.com: The Business of MMA
If Lesnar had made the card you probably could replace the 3 with an 8 for 106 but 360-375,000 for Tito's return? Dana burying him in the media for the last year has come back to bite him in the ass

And Tito probably keeps talking like he is the King of PPV draws.
His days of glory are gone

500,000 for Machida/Shogun is pretty good but could have been better.
Disappointing but completely unsurprising numbers for 106. You just can't have two irrelevant guys headlining. No disrespect to either Forrest or Tito, but its the truth.

If Lesnar hadn't had one foot in the grave, 106 woulda done 2 Mil easy.

Ok, lets guess how many people would watch a UFC event on CBS.

Jeez, even when Meltzer is reporting disappointing PPV numbers he has to round them up to some mark that probably won't get reached.
Anyone else notice how we are no longer getting early trending numbers? Its because they are shit and the MMA media just want to ignore them.
Now I say they are bad based on the UFC's previous success, however by regular PPV numbers 300k is still very good especially when ZUFFA has such small fight purses. UFC could live on 300k for every PPV show if they had too.
