Ufc 100

Okay its about 2 years away, lets say dana white comes to you and says he needs and idea to make UFC 100 spectacular what would you suggest?

I would tell him to have the event overseas in a country where there is no athletic commission and have an old school open weight UFC tournament.
Between fights flashbacks of the best ufc fights 1-100 and have ken shamrock fight don frye in the "super fight"

In 2 years, shamrock and frye will be in a nursing home. All I ask for is a stacked fight card with CURRENT greats and up and comers.

I'd ask that the fighers fight on a platform over a tank of sharks with lasers pew pew and I'd insist on Elite XC style chicks dancing around the fight platform.. and whenever each fighter wins he has to scream out "Kumite!!!" I forgot to add that they would only be allowed to use Street Fighter 2 moves as well. Hadouken, bitch!

I like the way you think, but that's not a realistic option. If the UFC were to hold an event in another country with little or no rules like the old days, they'd get on the shit list of the NSAC really fast which would not be good to put it mildly. That plus it wouldn't help out the image of the UFC. As we know, the image of the UFC must be put first these days.

To answer your question, I'd tell Dana to conduct a simple poll among UFC fans asking what fights the majority want to see and why. I'd then tell him to consider the results strongly when scheduling the fight card. Of course Dana couldn't base the fight card solely off of fan poll results, as there are other factors to consider. However if UFC 100 bouts were strongly based on fights the majority of the fans want to see, I think it would be very memorable. Of course some people wouldn't think so, but you can't please everybody.

i like your idea too, yea i know how the athletic commission feels about breaking rules overseas, but the idea of a pridelike ufc tournament is just amazing. ufc 100 should be amazing
