Croatian gladiator mirko filipovic could be the next opponent to legendary american boxer mike tyson. Ex Heavy Weight champ signed a contract with japanese organization (pride) which will plan to organize a big show on Oct 21st at the Thomas & Macke Center in Las Vegas. Its still uknown who will be tysons opponent but Japanese media is speculating that it will be crocop. They dont know whether the fight is gonna be by boxing or mma rules.

I heard stories that I am one of the candidates to fight tyson. But I cannot confirm that information. Of course I would like to be in the ring with such a legend. Tyson and pride have been talking about possibilities for the past few years (at the same time tyson was talking with K1) but 40 year old american was still hoping for a good boxing career. After he lost to irish boxer by knockout in nov 2005, tyson figured that he has to look somehwere else to settle his debt.

American and Japanese media are not talking about how much Tyson's offer is worth. But it is estimated that for the fight that is happening on the 21st of Oct. he is not going to get less then million dollars.
