I couldn't disagree more. Winning is really irrelevant to everyone including the fighter if no one wants to watch them. Tim Sylvia is the perfect example. He was roundly booed when he was champion for no other reason than he was too conservative and boring. A lot of people hate Matt Hughes for the same reason. Winning is fine, but if you win becasue you can hold someone down for three rounds or you are so big no one can get near you, who needs it. It is sport yes, but entertainment too at the end of the day. MMA still isn't a mature sport so a single style can dominate a fight if the person is good enough, but if that style is wrestling only, I'd rather watch boxing or kickboxing. We don't need any more GSP vs Serra II's. Or any more Matt Hughes fights. They are simply boring. And if the fighters don't choose to mix it up, the ref should
