Please help spread the word by signing the petition to help bring MMA to New York. Imagine UFC in Madison Square Garden? That would help propel the whole sport of MMA into a mega sport.


For the MODs and Administrators: If you feel that this thread does not belong in "Heavyweight" section then I apologize. But if you can post this up in sticky it would be greatly appreciated. This would be big for MMA as New York is the mecca for many big sports attraction. You don't have to live in NYC to realize how big this would be as it would help the sport of MMA grow to new heights on a world wide level.

Why wouldn't MMA sell out the Garden? What would make this so great is that this would force UFC to make a Supercard if they want to debut in the Garden. That would be great for everyone. Also, alot of people would travel to NY to see this even, from Ohio which is only a 9 hour drive to Las Vegas. And It would also give the networks no choice but to finally take notice including HBO.

Overall, this would create a mega explosion for MMA. Remember that WWE Pro Wrestling never has a problem selling out the Garden so why not MMA?

Madison Square is where the elite shows take places, the history making matches.

IMO MMA is a sport and I luv it and willl probaly compete till I die, but I dont feel it will be as a legendary sport as boxing will till a world rocking event takes place in Madison Square.
