TV Asahi to give Pride a TV deal??
Rumors have been spreading lately around the gym I go to about TV Asahi possibly picking up Pride. Anyone else heard anything about this? I won't mention names, but a few fighters I talked to recently said that a deal is expected to be reached by 2008.

If this is true, it is GREAT news for Pride. Just a rumor at this point though.

I hope it happens, would be great to stop all the rumours going around that pride's folding.

I heard about tv asahi and also NIPPON TV broadcasting PRIDE.

Not sure how true it is. I'm sure there were definately talks going on. I would hope it happens before 2008 though.

the deal is expected to be reached by 2008? I hope its more soon than that, either way its a good news for Pride if the rumors are true.

unless Sakikibara and Pride exec's roll at your gym I dont see how anyone would know that.

they are both huge.

From my understanding Fuji, NIPPON, Asahi, and TBS are the biggest tv stations in Japan.
