That isnt a direct quote. He said something more like:

"If he stops being stubborn and trains real Jui Jitsu instead of just sub defense"

Honestly, I agree. Much has been made of Mirko's sprawl, but at this point I think the level of wrestling in Pride was just a step behind that of the UFC, in part due to the fact that wrestlers just aren't as fun to watch, in part because top UFC fighters, especially those who live in the US, find it very easy to find tons of wrestling trainers and training partners. Also, ropes are actually a benefit to sprawling, whereas a cage makes it a little harder.

Couture would take CC down over and over.

Cro Cop showed a great sprawl against average wrestlers, and Marc Coleman who in all due respect is way past his prime. I dont recall Cro Cop sprawling against any world class wrestlers in their prime. I think he is in deep shit in the UFC due to their deep wrestling talent.

Laugable comment, Couture beats an awful champ in Sylvia and suddenly he's gonna destroy Crocop? What a TOOL!

uhhhh styles make fights and if you knew anything, youd know crocop doesnt like being pressed and the UFC doesnt stand you up as quick as pride did.... easy setup for a couture win... everyone with knowledge has said this...

their in a cage now... get with the times and update your fighter rankings cuz things have changed.

crocop couldnt even deal with gonzagas GnP, Coutures is better.

I am a big Trigg fan but sometimes he is biased to American fighters. Also Crocop would kill Randy.
