Top Ten Best Black Fighters in MMA
**DISCLAIMER** If you are one of those politically-correct, whiney little bitches who gets offended anytime the subject of race is brought up, then please do me a favor and skip this thread. Major league baseball recently did a poll on the best Latino pitchers of all-time. Boxing does the same thing from time to time. I don't see why this should be treated any differently, but I do realize that there are a few sensitive pansies in here that might get offended by this thread. Please do not proceed any further if this topic disturbs you.
These are the pound for pound best black fighters in the game right now. I have also ranked them accordingly. Let me know if you agree with the rankings. I'm sure I may have left out one or two fighters, so please feel free to add anyone I might have overlooked.
1. Anderson Silva -- has looked extremely dominant in his last few fights. has looked impressive in many weight classes. currently one of the best p4p in the world.
2. Rampage Jackson -- has the most impressive resume of the bunch. recent performances and inactivity have knocked him off the top spot.
3. Yves Edwards -- probably the most well-rounded of the bunch. very impressive resume, but recent losses have hurt his claim for pound for pound best fighter.
4. Alistair Overeem – shows flashes of brilliance but is too inconsistent. could potentially be the best fighter here.
5. Josh Koscheck -- most dominating wrestler this sport has seen in some time. just needs a little more experience to compete with the best in his division
6. David Loiseau – makes the best adjustments during fights. exceptionally good at capitalizing on mistakes. certain aspects of his game need to be tuned.
7. Rashad Evans – has all the tools to become a great fighter – grappling, striking, and cardio. just needs to take more chances and become a better finisher
8. Melvin Manhoef -- the most underrated of the bunch. needs to develop his ground game to become a top fighter.
9. Melvin Guillard -- has the most potential of all the fighters listed here. his submission defense could use some work.
10. Gilbert Yvel – the most prolific of the bunch. for a long time he was at the top of this list, but has been inconsistent in recent performances
Others receiving consideration – Din Thomas, Kevin Randleman, Terry Martin, Cheik Kongo, Tyrone Glover
