TKO Press Release..........

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION BETWEEN
STEPHANE PATRY AND DAVID LOISEAU IS OVER

Montreal (Canada) – March 21st 2006 – There has been a lot of talks and a lot of rumors going on lately and I want to confirm that effective since March 5th 2006 I am no longer representing the interests of middleweight mixed-martial-art competitor David “The Crow” Loiseau. We worked together for over six years and I considered him one of my good friends and one of the most exciting fighters in the world of MMA.

We believe things should’ve been handled differently by both parties but everything happens for a reason in life. David Loiseau will remain one of the best mixed-martial-art competitors in the world and Stephane Patry will remain one of the top manager/promoter in the world. They way our association ended shocked me and I am still to this day very sad on how the things have turned out, but this unfortunate situation is part of the game as it happens in every business, every day.

I wish David Loiseau the best of luck with his career and hopefully he will have the chance to one day redeem his performance against Rich Franklin on March 4th and realize his dream to become the UFC World Middleweight Championship. He has the tools, he has the talent and he has the heart to go all the way. He knows about the adjustments he needs to make and I’m sure he will work towards that in the months to come – but one thing is certain, he is a UFC fighter and he proved in 2005 that he was one of the best at what he does.

I am proud of where we went together and hopefully we will have the chance to work together again in the very near future.

Stephane Patry

looks like frosty_coles was right about the breakup

as far as i'm concerned this is non-news.
the whole thing is non-news. did we really gain anything from all the soap opera dramatics patry started? no. i'm sure patry is sitting pretty with all his success and money, and i'm sure loiseau is going to get a call from monte cox or somebody and be fine. this is just a bunch of personal bullshit that should have stayed mum between the two of them.

I don't think Patry has all that much cash...
TKO can't do much better than break even, and his percentage of Loiseau and GSP's contracts can't amount to too much.
I am dissappointed he didn't say anything about the next TKO event. It's been awhile and there's been no mention of when TKO 25 is going to happen.
