Tito should be a guest on Beatdown radio show.
I know there is a thread bashing gross's opinion towards tito. but i say tito needs to get on beatdown to see how it would play out.
rather or not you think forrest won, and besides gross's opinion, he had some pretty subtle insults towards tito.
"it's rare when you have a really exciting tito ortiz fight." what about vitor, tanner, forrest, mezger. frank shamrock? i thought only newbs thought ground work was boring, tito's gNp looks painful and can be pretty exciting... ask the tons of people at restaurants who cringe/yell everytime Tito landed an elbow in forrest's guard.
"You gotta be able to step up and fight the best" (implying tito doesn't fight). Besides ducking Liddell, I don't think you can generalize his entire attitude as a person who ducks fighters.
I love the free show, I even made a thread showing my appreciation, I just don't think it's Gross's position to insult a fighter, a person who goes in there infront of thousands of fans. I mean, it's fighters like Tito that are the reason people like Gross even have a job. It just sounds like fighter bashing to me.

yeah, i thought forrest won the fight, but still, gross really doesn't like tito. something he might want to do on forums, but not on a public radio show.

Gross may have some anit-Tito bias, but I can see where he's comming from. I think the fight was close and could have gone either way, but Tito's comments after the fight have done nothing but reflect poorly on him and his lack of character. Sometimes Tito is his own worst enemy. He really needs to learn to put his own mouth in check.
BTW - I think the beatdown NEEDS to get Tito on the show.

Hey dude, that was me that started that thread. I just wanted to say that I didn't start it to bash Gross but merely express my suprise at how it appeared that here was a lot of frustration and dislike towards tito in his comments.

For the record I called Tito 5 times before the fight. He never returned my call.
