GSP was a hockey player.

Wanderlei Silva should play Hockey, he'd be the second man to take off his skate and try to stab someone with it.

Tie Domi vs Tank or Kimbo would be cool.

Well hockey is the only other sport with fighting in the game. Teams actually acquire certain players to make sure goal scorers don't get roughed up.

Why doesn't it make sense? Here are some statistics to help you understand. Since 1982 101 High School athletes have died playing football compared to 2 in hockey for the same period. During the same time there were 257 serious injuries in football (which represents injuries that have a permanent affect on an athlete, such as paralysis) and there were 7 similar injuries in Hockey. But somehow you believe this information doesn't equate into a sport being tough. This is why people say the U.S. school system is failing.

I thought I saw GSP on ice skates against Matt Serra in the first fight. Good thing GSP remembered to take them off in the second fight.

hockey is the toughest sport period...first off you play 82 regular season games followed by at least 16 games to win the cup which no team has every ran the table to win it. so your looking at over 100 games for the champs and runner ups.. not to mention the checking which has caused more injuries then an mma fighter could imagine. take a puck in the mouth going 95-105 mph then still playing or being hit from behind into the boards...and the question is pointless, could a fighter strap on skates and deal with players flying at you going 35 mph i think not.
if you want to see a good highlight vid youtube wendle clark, you'll enjoy it...
one thing you got to remember about hockey is it is one of if not the purest sport out there when it comes to doping..
well anyways heres a link YouTube - thanks "ALL HEART"

heheehe I can buy that... the level of professional ability in MMA is nowhere nearly as refined in other major sports...

I guess some Big HWs could be a linebacker though... if they had football growing up.
