Sure they dropped the subscriber fee to 20 cents, but they're asking TWC to make probably 100x the amount of people pay it instead of just those who purchase the tier.
LOL!

You know what? It's a business. TWC decided to not carry HDNet. HDNet tried their best to rework the terms that TWC would accept, but TWC opted to say no.

I love how people want to spin it that HDNet is in the wrong for trying to make money on their own product. And trying to make it available to as many people as possible.

Good thing there are other TV providers other than TWC who actually care about their customers.

I'm still pissed they took it away from Brighthouse customes. I get off of work at 4am, so HDNet Fight was always waiting for me when I got home, but not anymore. I'd switch to another provider, but I had DishNetwork last year and they suck at life, and so does just about any network that uses a dish. Always messes up during rainstorms.

It's all academic to me. The cable provider where I live (Comcast) doesn't carry HDNet at all. I switched to DirecTV 100% because of HDNet and don't regret it a bit.

Cheers!
how about giving us some reasons why Time Warner is the culprit and give us some examples of their "shitty business practices"

Dream 7 appears to be available on TWC's Sports on Demand for $9.99.

Is there any chance HDNet & TWC will come to an agreement prior to the next Dream/Sengoku? If not, is there any chance TWC will still make Dream/Sengoku available via Sports on Demand for $9.99 each?

If not, can HDNet allow Showtime to show Dream/Sengoku temporarily?

what some people fail to realize is that many people are "forced" into the provider that they have. I live in NYC - no dishes allowed on buildings. Time warner is the only option. Rumors of Fios coming in the near future... But for now we're forced to bend over and take whatever Time Warner decides is what we want. first the NFL Network, now this.

I would cancel in a heartbeat, but I can't. Instead I downgrade to the lowest possible service out of frustration.

I'm stuck with Time Warner because my apartment doesn't face the right direction for a dish and UVerse isn't available in the part of Austin I live in. It sucks not having HDNet/HDMovies.
