The Bronze is $30 a month and you get HDNet and SpikeHD
I get the Gold for $50 which also gets me VersusHD.
Basically get all my MMA in HD.
I used to get Directv but it's more expensive to get these channels.
I had TWC before, and good luck getting any of these channels in HD. That and they already ran out of bandwidth, won't upgrade their infrastructure fast enough, so you won't see any new channels or better internet any time soon. The new fiber optic companies will be murdering these guys in big cities in a few years. HDNet is not your enemy in this case, TWC is, the pricing doesn't lie!

The pricing? Time warner (now its called brighthouse in my area) pricing beats the hell out of satellite companies. I did the stupid mistake about 2 years ago to switch to dishnetwork and first of all it was total shit, i live in FL where it gets cloudy and rains a lot.. So that means my signal was being lost a whole lot, which annoyed the shit out of me. Then the price is a rip off, from what i remember i got a plan that was $39.99 per month, what i didnt know all the fucking fees they dont mention! $9 extra per room and so many more extra fees which ended up coming around $80 per month. At least with timewarner (now brighthouse in my area) they tell you the truth price and dont bullshit you.

I just chewed Time Warner out and cancelled my cable. Even though I'm moving anyways, I told them the reason for cancellation was because they got rid of HDNet.

No Brighthouse does not beat the pricing, sorry. I live in the Orlando area and have priced the equivalent package to get Spike, Versus, and HDNet and it was $64 a month, not $50 a month like with dish.

They offer 2 tiers of cable, standard, and interactive with HD, pathetic. Which really means they offer one fucking package if you want HD. So you pay for everything whether you like it or not. Dish has 3 choices for HD only packages alone!
But you can't even get HDNet on Brighthouse either, since it's disguised as TWC. Plus you don't get SpikeHD. So you pay more, don't get the choices you want and they're not in HD. And this beats the hell out of Dish pricing? And the weather issue is your dish alignment, not the weather. The only time I had a problem, was last year when it rained for 3 days due to Fay. I'll be the first person to switch to cable if I get all the channels I want, in HD and for a reasonable price. Brighthouse/TWC fails at all 3!

No we pay $60 a month including fees and all. And yes dish may be $50, but thats only for 1 room. I need it for each room, which equals up to over $80.

I did the same thing with Cox a couple months ago. I was moving anyway, and I had planned on getting satellit. I asked them if they had plans to add HDNet, and when they said no, I told them I want to cancel my service because of it.

So much bullshit being spewed in one thread.
It is amazing how many people come out of the wood work when someone mentions any company and complains about something. All of a sudden they are the worse thing out there.
I do not believe for a second Time Warner would drop HDnet if they were asking for a cheaper price when it came to renegotiate anyone who does think so is a fool. They are looking to gain more and more hd channels and have been consistently adding them every month... why would they drop 2... why would it be hdnet and hdnetmovies? Why not some other channel people don't watch?
Most people complaining about their internet probably did their own "weekend warrior" wiring and its to blame but they are too cheap to get it done right now.

HDnet movies is a waste of a channel. Unpackage regular HDnet and get it on the basic HD TWC package.

I liked HD Net movies they had classic movies on there and they have been showing new movies before they are at the theater one a month.
But what you want is what HD Net wanted also I believe.
