Time Warner subscribers - want to keep HDNet?

there is an open letter on the other sticky. when I called to complainan and have them forward my complaint to someone. the lady was like "i can send it to my supervisor" Im like you just removed the best channel and there isnt a way to issue a formal complaint- bullshit---thankfully it was allready set up here.

unfortunately i live in an apt, so they dont allow dish. livin in the third largest city in NY, you would think time warner wouldn't have a near monopoly, but they do. no at&t or any other cable options.

so i cancelled the premium tier, complained to the woman on the phone, and sent in a comment through their web form.

anyone who supports time warner cable is out of their mind. i am all for capitalism, but i dont even have the option of paying for channels that i want...hdnet, spike hd, comedy central hd, nfl network. twc carries none of these because they are greedy bastards.

not too long ago, they tried to make my city a test environment for their net service where you pay based on usage. sounds fair right? well not exactly. NO ONE'S rates go down. the base rate stays the same for people who barely use the net and everyone else's rates go up. yeh that makes sense *rolls eyes*

good thing that got shitcanned due to a mass uproar. need the same uproar over this.

If HDNet wants our sympathy, they need to act like they give a damn about MMA and the fans who watch their channel. None of this "If it isn't on Friday or Saturday, we aren't showing it live" bullshit that you guys started this year. The DREAM 9 broadcast proved that you are still able to air these events live if you want to. And the cutting of fights from K-1 events has to stop.

Seriously, enough with this crap. Who would have ever thought we'd have to go back to watching streams because "the home of live mma" has become "the home of tape delayed mma"?

i never had got the channel, it cost like an extra $5-10, screw that. Bring the channel back but free, its stupid they charge us more money for the channel, its not like they give us a shitload of HD channels.

I paid for the channel because MMA is worth it to me... not to mention hot ass women running around! but I am too in the posistion where i cant swap providers. Sigh.... Oh well in a few months when I move I can then get dish or fios whatever in the area.....

unless staying with time warner is causing a loss in profits you should try anything to stay with them, their goes alot of your market, it's a fuckin hassle to switch providers for 1 channel, just give a little, times are tough but if you at least break even, when times get better you will have more customers and more profit potential, i could be talking out of my ass but losing a provider cant be good for you, what happened? i emailed mark cuban and he had no explanantion but to just say you'll swith providers if you don't get hdnet back, what are they supposed to do come crawling back to you and telling the other channels they made arrangements with to fuck off, just keep providing us hdnet damnit, FUCK!!!!!!!!!

That show is the reason I'm waiting to drop TWC. I'll be getting Dish Network but I want the mid-range, HD only package. It comes with HDNET and Spike HD but unfortunately, no Versus Network.

I get Dish Network's Turbo HD package it's the best value for MMA fans:

The Bronze is $30 a month and you get HDNet and SpikeHD

I get the Gold for $50 which also gets me VersusHD.

Basically get all my MMA in HD.

I used to get Directv but it's more expensive to get these channels.

I had TWC before, and good luck getting any of these channels in HD. That and they already ran out of bandwidth, won't upgrade their infrastructure fast enough, so you won't see any new channels or better internet any time soon. The new fiber optic companies will be murdering these guys in big cities in a few years. HDNet is not your enemy in this case, TWC is, the pricing doesn't lie!
